4x4 Saff Rebuild Dec 06
Hi everyone. Today started a top end rebuild on my Saff. After changing my mind about selling the car I decided to do a few things to the car to make it better and all in just a bit faster.
Current spec of the car is.....
NMS stage 3 Map
Green/803's
Group A Coil
PiperX Filter
3 Bar map sensor
Scorpion Exhaust
Bailey Breather Kit
Standard T34.48
Unsure of power but Karl reckons something in the region of 320-340bhp at about 28psi
The mods that i have planned to do with the help off my mate on here Bud-weis is
Grey's 403's
Karl Norris Stage 1/Low Lag head
Rebuilt T34 with 360deg bearing
Rs500 style intercooler and Aluminium Rad (which i sell cheap through the net)
Group A Air Filter
Group A Fuel Pump
Tarox 6 Pots (If i can save the cash through this festive period)
Rouse Splitter
A bit of under bonnet bling
and all in all a good clean under the bonnet..
After speak to a few people im hoping for something around the 360-370bhp mark with a decent amount of mid range punch due to keeping the exhaust housing on the turbo .48
Anyway....... Myself and bud-weis started stripping the car down today. Didnt have any trouble at all bar 4 fucking bolts. 2 on the exhaust manifold and 2 on the turbo which for the life of me i cant bloody get to.
The head seamed in realy good condition for a 90k car. Anyway here is a few pics of the day

WELL!! its been a fucking long time but yesterday Budweis went to NMS and came back with this
Pics only took on my phone but im sure you can see the condition. I only wanted a stage 1 head but some where weve got our wires crossed and ive had a head capable of 500bhp if what karl tells me is right. Which im sure carnt be a bad thing if a little over spec'd
anyway. I best start getting this little puppy back together now.
