Default belgian xr2i ,UK rs1800

a few months ago I bought a xr2i as they named them in belgium, in the Uk it's called rs1800
it's the 130hp one and from the year '94

my plans with it are: a new exhaust(maybe mongoose),st170 manifold, lowering it, powerflex, cosworth brakes, rebuilding the engine, new cams, upgrading the ecu, clutch..., removing the back seats and interior stuff, rollcage

for now only a few mods have happend: only the rims and a k&n filter
I bought RS2000 escort rims got them shotblasted and resprayd , I got dunlop sp9000 tyres on them 195/45/15

There is also a rs turbo bonnet on it, this was on it when i bought the car

for now I'm repairing the bodywork, and removing the usual rust

the left rear arch, a new plate welded in place

the left rear arch in the lower corner, a new plate welded in place

new plates at the botem of the doors (left and right)

rust on the inside of the front arches

shotblasted

etchprimed

front arch

at the skirt below the door

excuse me for my english

Hi mate and welcome on Pf.

Looks like you've started a nice job on your car.

Where do you live in Belgium?

Better check out these great Belgian websites:

thanks mates

today I did a compression test on the engine, this is what I came up with
cylinder 1: 146,5psi (10,1bar)
2: 148psi (10,2bar)
3: 146,5psi (10,1bar)
4 152psi (10,5bar)
I believe it's not too bad??? they are almost the same and they arent more then 10% off on eatchother.

@cossiemen: I'm from westerlo
i checked the sites , and i will register me later

greets
