Default fiesta 1.6 zetec s conversion into fiesta mk4

Hi all I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have the phase two 1.6 zetec s engine from the mk5 fiesta and I am currently fitting it into my mk4 fiesta.

Firstly my mk4 is the digital dash version like the mk5.

The problems I have experienced so far what I need answers for are:

- the fuel pipes from my existing mk4 don't reach to the engine, what can I do?

- on my car there was only one lambda sensor but I have found out this engine requires 2, one to the manifold, where does the other one fit?

I'm really desperate now becuase my car has been off for 2 weeks and still got no where. A bit annoyed as other forums have told me this was an easy conversion.

Regards

Simon

was your original engine the 1.25?

at a guess i would say the other sensor is for the maf on the intake. have a look at a zetec s bay.

i used to have a imp blue phase 2 zetec s was a really nice engine 4 a standard car never ever let me down.
fuel lines...cant you jus put some z-s ones in? or new ones?

on the phase 2 you have pre & post lambda sensors. alot of people decat theyre zs and find the engine management light comes on the dash........so to combat this you can like trick the ecu by wiring the 2 sensors together. im not sure how to do this but it is common practise for the likes of pumaspeed or pumabuild who decat customers cars..maybe give them a call theyre really sound to be fair and will only be happy to help.

best ov luck matey
