cheers mate, my eyes started to hurt by the third page so i give up, but basically 2wd arb is the one to get,

i want bladed but just cant afford it at the moment, still trying to figure out whats going on with my bilsteins i bought, i fit them and the car sits like an off roader

have put a post in GD hopefully will get some light shed, as i'm using basic gaz coilovers at the moment, and want something better

Not a massive update due to bad weather saturday.

So today got some of the welds ground down and brushed some Gunk on and gave it a good jet wash..

Only one before pic.

And after

Came up quite well i thought..

I hope to have mine done quite soon but you know how plans are,

Diamond white as only recently had the front bumper painted and not having it done again..mind you the Diamond white on the bumper is alot brighter than the car so think i will be happy with it

white stone guard and paint if its not bright enough..stone chip guns are only cheap mate will look great and protect it well ..good progress mate well done must pop round and have a look before its back on its wheels.

Any look last night mate with that stuff off the chap and if he is cutting it up dont forget i need some stuff for the focus/focos just keep me upto speed on it and we will see wot we can weld up next weekend and get this moving on again for you

MASSIVE BIG UP TO COLEY......again, lol
Ian came to mine today and spent the full day working on my car sorting all the welding bits that needed doing.
Cannot thank you enough mate

Few pics of todays progress..

Ian cutting the floor out in the pouring rain, i had to get the gazibo out, lol

Crushed up rusty jacking point cut out...... it does look bad having to have all this work done on the floor but we cant all have the mint non rusty shells, lol

it will never be a concours car but i think this will help the shell last for a few extra years

New piece to go in

Poor quility pic of new piece in and primered to give it a little protection

New piece fitted on the other side as well

This has made a massive improvement over the flat plate that was put in without my knowing when the car was last painted

as can be seen at the lower of this older pic

Ian also fitted the Danny B frame connectors in for me as i want to try to put some strength in the shell as i have lost some due to removing the roll cage.

There were a few other repairs done as well today but as it was getting dark and starting to rain again i never got any pictures.

Im glad you did deside to put it on its side and do this work to it as if you had not it would of just been on your mind all the time about the floor problems well its all done now so you can push on with it and get things moving on now . And it dose look a lot better now

The weather was on my mind not for me but the welder then gav got a cover and all was good . at the end of the day if i say i will do somthing for some one i will do it . + gav is a good mate

but i got worried about electrical items and the rain not mixing well

You must have missed it Pete....see if you can guess, lol

I am currently having a piece off the front of the box modded for centre push hydraulic clutch release and need to drop a bellhousing off to have that modded as well so it fits to the engine.

Yea, its getting there slowly, it makes life so much easier to work on the underside if you can just push the car over, lol The frame work is good as it allows me to still move the car about and can roll over where need be.
