Not a massive update as the weather has not been great.

This week off has killed me, lol done more work on my time off than what i do when im at work, haha

Hopefully it won't be too long as i just wanna give it a quick clean up underneath and get some of that shaults (spelling?) stuff on and a fresh coat of the black wax or something just so it is protected then get the bay prept and painted and start to put it back together enough so its rolling and can go to the bodyshop once the funds allow

Work has slowed down now i am back to work but still sorted a few bits.

Monday dropped a few parts off for powder coating and collected them today, am really pleased with the outcome





Wasn't sure on the metalic black but seeing the result i think i made the right choice (sorry to Twins for ripping your idea off)







Marks are just dust and hand prints



Not sure if the red will work but we will see....one is H13 and one is H14 so can see which i prefer.





Didn't want to unwrap as nightmare to wrap again but you get the idea..







Also bought myself a new paint gun this week for doing the engine bay and inside so we are getting there,

Probably not mate they like to see what is being done to give an accurate quote.

Only thing i have heard him quote without seeing it is wheels, try to get a picture or something to show him.

gav if the saphs dont need this abs braket mate i have one of my old 3dr mine has a small rust hole but is all sand blated bk an re painted in black an ya welcome to have it mate if ya want well thats if i dont need it for saph i cant see it on the saph so i dont no if i need one lol

I was going to leave it on its side for the week so i could work on it when i wanted as it takes 2 people to lift it but when i looked at it from the bottom of the drive it didn't look very nice and the neighbours were already staring through the windows and shaking there heads, lol so put it down for the quiet life as its not my house.

As said mate, this is the last time im rebuilding this car so its got to be good.

With regards the roll bars, the H13 is the standard one that came with the car but apparently there were complaints with stability and tramlining etc so later 3drs/rs500's and saffs had the H14 fitted.
It is slightly longer and pushes the wheels forward inproving the castor angle and helps with stability and turn in i believe.

If you want the definitive answer give Mike Rainbird a pm as im sure he knows more about them than me..there was a thread somewhere about them ages ago but cannot remember what it was called to look for it.
