My 3door cosworth project.* update page 91 * cage, flocked dash

As most of you know i had my saff written off a few months ago

,and after discussing with the insurance i was able to buy it back ,wanted the engine and box for a new project (was not sure at this time what i wanted poss mk2 escort) had a look about and decieded the mk2 was a bit over budget for me ,so went on the hunt for a 3 door ,luckily 3dr stretch on here was breaking his one at the right time so a deal was done ,he stripped out what i did not need and here we are.
This was my saff after some one pulled out on to me.

Not much more to come off it now ,since these pics the loom skirts boot lid and other bits have been removed

Found the tunnel and all behind the pedals was badly bent due to the crash.

The day came to go and collect the car from Wales so me ,Dave (twins) and Danny boy set off in the van to collect it (thanks guys

)
Bought some comp mo,s for the 3door ,these came along with us.

Going to go buckets and cage so thought the headlamp decals should stay.
Getting ready to leave.

Pulled in for a break ,decieded the tints had to go ,as they wont go with the cage and buckets.

Back home

Had to get in it lol

I will post up more pictures when the engine and box go in and also the cage and seats.

as for the spider incident i'll let dave (twins) or danny boy tell you all. as all i remember was shitting my pants thinking the beast of a spider was gonna bite my arm off!!!! i swear it was that big i reckon it would've aswell

started doing some bits today sent all of my tanks brackets and rear strut brace off to the powder coaters, getting them all done black

got my 4 point harnesses today aswell

started cutting my accelerator cable bracket today weight saving

will post some pic's up once its painted

cant wait to get stuck into it now,

every morning i come out of my house and see it sitting their its put a smile on my face everytime and i aint even driven it yet,

Good job i was there as Danny and ron was out the van pretty sharpish ,was funny though i was i real tears at the way they both reacted.

thanks all for the comments going to fit the engine next weekend hopefully havn't had a chance to do bugger all yet

today's the first day i've had to even have a proper look over it

gotta try and get a bell housing as my one was smashed in the crash

going out their now to do a couple of little bits to it so hopefully get some pic's up later

done a couple of little bits painted the map sensor bracket and cut up and painted the accelerator cable bracket

the twins are coming round tonight to make my turbo heat shiald will put some pic's up, puttint the engine in sunday

thanks mate wasn't the plan but might try and get, i've got an oil cooler so i might put that behind the other light, gotta try and figure out where i can mount the remote oil filter, any ideas welcome lol
