H380 TBV Sapphire Cosworth Concours car - Page 8

Yet Another weekend at it,
Saturday my Electriction came and wired in me compressor =)
Sunday i cracked on with the car,
Gearbox was finished in Clear Coat

Some Details Shots

Prepared more bits for fitting on the car come build up time,

Exhuast had a hand polish with Autosol

New clips fitted under the car to take fuel and brake lines

Clutch fitted

Repatined and clear coated my fuel lines as i wasnt happy with them

A previous owner or someone had jacked the car up off one of the strenghtening points under the car nr the jacking point and crushed it, so over some weeks i have been pulling and prying the metal out to somewhere i was happy with, iv then metal filled it and P38 top filled and primed

Looks ok, thats all for now more to come, im off this friday for a preping painting day on my skirts so should be lots to come!!!

Little update, no pictures yet sadly, ordered rear discs and pads, new wheel nuts.

Have received though the post new Bottom arm boots( http://www.balljointboots.co.uk/index.html ), front and back gear box seals.

Cant wait till friday, painting Day!!!!

Hi All,
Well thats it, another season over on the RS scene apart from my trip to the NEC to show @ the Classic Car Show for the RS Owners Club shes all done for another year! and what a year!
Iv achieved everything i ever wanted with the car now.
Novice Cosworth.
Four Regional day enteries four wins
Gold Cup for the season(most points overall in class)
And RSOC National Day Novice Cosworth Winner.
Gold Cup and National Trophy

Above + Regional Day trophys

Next year!!!!!!!!! HA
Well i was going to rest next year from all this concours thing, but after speaking to all my fellow concours buddies and followers iv desided that i may move up a level to intermidiate! alot harder challenge and one that i would need to comitte to without any dout in my mind! we will see.. big clean up coming on H380 over the coming months to bring her up to a really clean standard again!
So watch this space!
I have also bought a sister for H380 being H686 another sapphire cosworth rolling shell, this one is going to be my fast road track car! a long awaited coming!
