Our house (Massive amount of pics)
Well, it's not exactly car related but it is a project.
ALL pictures of the build will be put into my Photobucket account.

I'll save you all the hassle we had buying our own piece of land and registering it. It took us from October 2004 upto June 2006 to get everything settled.
Some sightseeing in the new neighbourhood.
Neighbours across the straat

Initially we wanted this brick:
Terca Agora Titaangrijs
Then it was this one but the council wouldn't let us pick this one.
Tercao Agora Grafietzwart
Then my girlfriend came with this one.
Terca Agora Paars
And in the end we decided for this one.
We also received a quote for our stair which we want.

And this is our building plan.
FRONT
LEFT SIDE
BACK
GROUND FLOOR
FIRST FLOOR
And then there's still the attic (9x8m). There's no building plan for the right side of the house as that will be build against our neighbours house. Everyone can imagine a simple stone wall, I assume?

And then the party really started.
Monday 19-06-06 7.30am.
This was the result by 9.30am.
Still the same day.
We need some more sand.
Some precision driving.

And then finally by 4.00pm the long awaited concrete raintank of 10.000liter. This concrete cylinder weighs in at about 5,5ton and has a diamter of 2,5m and is 2,5m heigh.
So, a hole had to be dug of about 3,5m deep.
And afterwards, everything had to be flattened by my father-in-law.

Foundation concrete has been poured (spelling?).
All concrete blocks have been put where they need to be. Cement has been delivered together with about 5 ton of sand. Time to play now.

Despite the heat (35°C) we still had some work done today.
The watchdog on duty. She's 14years old but she always wants to be with me and can not be stopped when somebody leaves the gate open at my parents-in-law 5 houses down the road.

Temperature outside was just TOO bloody hot so didn't do too much that day.
Also took delivery of the outer stone of the house. Only 14 of the 20 packs were delivered. They were going to bring the rest the day after with a smaller lorry so that they could put it at the back of the house as we needed all the space in front.

We finally took delivery of the Deltafoam 7cm thick insulation.
The result by evening when I dropped by.
We also put some bricks ready for my father-in-law to continue the next day. We don't want him to fall out of work, do we?
