so, LC-1 mounted.
Now i can set it up better, the original HEGO is a mess.
i tok the white stuff around the ex-manifold away, the manifold and my HEGO nearly burns away.
i did change the power steering tubes it wasnt god!
It´s not easy to get some (performance) parts here in germany!
Cheers Mark

So, some changes hapend!
With the new Setup with the Lc-1 i messured that i can make it leaner!
Now, it runs up to 3000rpm on AFR 14,7:1 and over it on 13,9:1!
That is a quit nice setup it needes less fuel now and it runs very fast!
in the moment i am building a vacuum system to swith the IMRC in the intake manifold.
i can use it with my ECu, so it would be fine!
here is a pic of the engine in the last month, some selfmade carbonparts are fitted now (not on pic..!)
I also mounted a AFR Meter in the Tachometer that shows me with 3digits behind the point my AFR from 0.500 to 1.500
and you also can see it dosnt need much fuel!
The connecter for the ECu and the Lambda Cable
And here my Garage, it is an Old military Bunker

Hello people.
A lot is done!
I switched to another ECU (now Trijekt T101), and i did some progress on the Inlet Camtiming!
I organised some Datasheed about the VCT movement, so i could set it perfect.
In the past i thought that the car was fast, but now i know what is possible!
In 2weeks it goes back in the winter garage, this year is the first that i can spend the hole winter in making things better!
I dont have to repair any part... so i am realy happy!
so, updates soon!
Cheers Mark ( www.ST2000.de )

So, here are the Pics!
The first Pic shows the Shifter decomposed!to find the finished parts...
The 2nd Pic shows the old and the new part!
After a nice clean and paint everything looks like new!
So, thats it for today!
The next part to work on, is the Steering!
The List for this Winter is long, a lot of pics will come in future!

Hello
The Bunker is about 7*7 meter innersize.. its realy cool...
So and today its time for some updates.. i did alot in the meantime..
The Steering is completly overhaulin now, thats the only thing i did not do on my own!
I found a litle company, they did it for me!
Here the pics..
And i also did some progress on the underfloor!
A few years ago i removed the painting and stoneship stuff from it, just to have a look for rust! (i never found one!)
So now the car has driven a lot, and it was time to have a second look at it all!
Its the best moment now to do this, the Shifter ist out, the exhaust is out, engine axles and gearbox is also out!
So enough space to work on everything without geting gyno practice...
so enough letters, now pictures...
before
work on the edges..
and the end finish
so enough for today, waiting for our motorshow... need new shiny stuff!

no i am not,
i did a swop to Trijekt last winter, DTA wasnt god..
The Software does have some nice features and it looks god, but the hardware is a mess...
The Escort is just a Hobbycar, its not my daily driver, so i have enough time to sort problems out!
But there where a lot of little things you cant control.
The biggest problem was the idle control, in three years using DTA i never got the idle system work.
At the end, i controlled the idle with the butterfly and the ign moment..
Without a Widebandlambda closep loop you are not able to get it run on your destinated AFR..
The new ECU does run with open Lambdacircle after 2-3 hours mapping better than DTA ever did!
The car did run more than 20km/h faster after swapping and it feels much stronger..
and the support is like geting milk by your neighbour!

i would love to be a bit faster, im running out of time!
In the Garage its f...ing cold (about 3-4°C), and i find only time for maximum two visits a week!
The Garage is so cold because its underneath the earth and in the middle of a forest..
I still have to do the engine and the reasembling, over febr. i am on Holiday, so time is geting less!

So, only a short week is left until my Holiday starts!
and today is startet to strip the engine, i dont have to make a complette rebuild.
I just have to reasamble the VCT Unit, and take out the Srew in the oilchanal...
ofcourse, i do the normal stuff, what is need to do on a "old" engine... (43kkm
It gets new seelings, new paint!
And i hope the time is enough to go for some powdercoating...
Its like this now..
HMM, i knew, there a two Versions, but i did not know that i have the choice....
Thats the original Setup...
And i started to do some Carbon fibre parts... (more will come)
maybe the second last update before holiday....

so, yesterday i had the last change to do something before i go to holiday!
So here is the last update for the next 3,5weeks...
South Africa is waiting...
The VCT is back in again... new Timing belt etc. is on!
Here is a pic of the TB...old and new...
I have to make little modifications on the inletmanifold to make it proper!
It does fit, but its not very smothy inside...
And the CF stuff is also growing...
The endfinish will also come after holiday..
so thats it for now... i will have a look sometimes... but the next pics wont come before the 23feb.
I am not offline, but nearly 9000km away from home... **jeah..baby...**
