Hi i recently decided to rescue a mental xr3i from a mental muppet

1.9 cvh
twin 40's
spax adjustables
rs kit

thats about it

this car used to be mad but since becoming abit of a slag alots been removed

(seats, steering wheel, 17s and lots of other nice things too im told)

needs a respray and general Dee Gayafying (m3 mirrors)

i'll get some pics up soon, think it had something to do with carnoisseur southend???? its H plate and red???

Bargin, I just sold a pair of DCOE carb's on a cvh manifold for Ł180, so you could say the car cost about Ł20.

Is it a bored out 1800 cvh or an imported 1900?

Looks a good project. I wouldn't mind some thing like that to use as a track day car.

it'll go! i rekon but its up to dan at the end of the dayu i think he should go back to EFi insted of carbs and run a chipped ech then turbo the fuker!!!

i am after 2xmk 4 doors and a mk 4 standard boot of a 1.3 something like that so it has no holes from a spoiler im going to keep the boot just plain.

also if u dont have any luck finding a boot i have 1 on my project (1.1 no spoiler) may be able to sort somthing out

get on mate. you dont see turbo and carbs very often any more, dont know why cos it works really well, just a little harder to set up the correct fueling, not impossible tho,

altho the power does seem to be a little on off with that sort of set up,

this things been owned buy some complete muppets the last 3 years....

the last time this car was in any sort of good condation was about 3 years ago and me and dan both looked and wanted it but jsut couldn't get the cash due to other projects.......

its a h dan'll no the rest......

yeh the reg is H23 PPE, does anyone no anyone that is a good sprayer and is pretty cheap,am willing to muck in with all the hard bits just a bit skint at the mo, let me no thanks dan,oh and twins i adore your red rst its got to be the best in the world surely
