Default My Series 1 RS Turbo - freshen up

Couple of pics of the S1 when I got her:

Was planning to give her a wee tidy but after thinking about it all, the Series 1 is worth far more to restore as well as being rarer and a genuine RS than my Bonus/S2 resto so i'm using all the goodies on this instead!

I'm aiming for a tidy and quick road car and spec should be as follows:

Lowered 60mm all round on Gmax shocks and springs
Poly-bushed front to back and all arms, tie bars etc powder coated
2wd Cossie front brakes and rear discs (2.0 Sierra), braided hoses
15" TSW Stealths (soon to be totally refurb'd)
2 x new doors, new tailgate, new back panel, new bumpers
New headlights, indicators, rear lights and stripes
Full respray

I've got 98% of the bits already:

Mk5 RS2000 handbrake cable for rear calipers:

Rear suspension set up:

Rear discs (needin a clean )

Doors - delocked and solid:

Original petrol tank wi a lick of silver hammerite:

And how she's looking at the moment - bit sad!

At the moment i've got absolutely everything off underneath from floor back and just prepping it for some coats of black hammerite, started painting underarch today:

Maybe get back out later on today for more progress!

Looks like car has had a full roll cage in its past and battery tray is in the boot - anybody with info of the history the car please let me know - reg is B767 KCU

Hope yous like

Leave it on the standard wheels, stealths ruin it!
