project rs replica, update 05/05/06
as im only 16 at the moment i cant buy a car yet the project is going to be making a s2 rs turbo replica,
heres a few pics of what ive got so far and what work ive done
xr3i wheels, when i got them
how they look now after lots of sanding then airbrushing in pearl mettalic black.
my rs rims
rs turbo dash, dials, steering wheel, graphic eq and half leather recaro
carbon fibre heater vents
twin 12" mutant subs in my custom sub box and my m3 mirrors
nice little feature i added when i built the sub box
rs crossover pipe boot rs badge and interior goodies
88spec rs front bumper final stage of smoothing
rs rear bumper halfway through de-grooving
rs nutta

do yourself a favour though mate. and dont put on the m3 mirrors. sell them to one of your mates and laugh 
good idea, we have lots of bits kept by for the car that my wee brother hasnt got yet either.
get a car sorted soon though cos they are gettin harder to come by all the time. that way you could have it finished for passing your test

looking good so far fella, keep them peeled for a nice solid MK4 3 door motor to stick them all on.
I remember a MK4 1.3 popular that someone di up and had it featured, (I still have the mag somewhere) just shows what can be done.
I think a nice euro look in a light silver would be nice, better than expensive huge manky bodykits. Then when you can afford it stick a turbo lump in, or go donw the 2.0 litre with nos.
U spraying it yourself aswell? hats of toy you if you are at 16/17 mate.

yeah im doing all the painting myself, i started 4 years ago with cans and now im pretty good at with a proper gun.
i prefere airbrushing though it tends to get a better finish

It doesn't need to be a replica either, it can be a one off modded motor, remember that silver MK4 escort that was the nutz!

gwwaaann mate nice one im 16 my self wiv a xr3i mk4 my self bt had rust on roof wasnt sortable as i had low funds 
so i happly choped the roof off to make a pick up

yours is gonna look really nice as a pickup,its suprising how many 16 year olds starting projects and stuff there is at the moment
and ive got somewhere i can put my car now so i should be getting it within a matter of weeks, i just need to find the right one now
