Default Getting her running again - IC modified now

Yesterday a m8 of mine told me there would be a track day on Zandvoort(Netherlands) next month.
As I wanted to do that for a while I was immediatly interested, but, what car to take?

Orion's engine is using about half a litre oil per week by now, so that engine will die for sure, the Fiesta won't be ready this month, buying something else isn't an option as I just spend my money on another Volvo Amazon, so the S2 was the option to go for.

Got her out of the shed after a year, this is how she looked

20 minutes later

I was really amazed how good she looked after that year, picture doesn't do it justice.
The luck didn't end there as I connected the battery and it started, all by itself, and after a few seconds, it even started to run like it should. Haven't heard that for a year, so I'm a very happy man at the moment.

Did have a dissapointment too though, the belt tensioners is very noisy, at least, I hope it's the belt tensioner, no time for an engine rebuilt as I've got 30 days left to get her MOT'd

Wish me luck

Forgot to mention the work to be done

Car needs a new loom as this one has lots of problems and was the reason of putting her away.
Remove ABS
Other intercooler which has to modified too.
Modify the exhaust for an A/F gauge.

Cheers!

Have been busy for the past 2 weeks. Removed the ABS with all the brakelines and replaced them with std escort brakelines, so elliminated a dosen of reasons of brake failing.

Also been modifying the intercooler and this is how it turned out:

And here's a pic of the car at the moment:
