Default S2 rear arch help!!!!

Help! taken me kit of the s2 and the rear arch ( where the rivits hold the kit on ) is very rusty and falling apart.

How would i go about repairing that am prity good with stuff like this but not sure what would be the best way to fix this problem.

Am help would be gr8

falling apart or just surface rust mate? pics would help, sounds like you need some new rear arches.

heres a few pic not gr8 due to losing light.







The arch seems very bumpey if you know what i mean. other side doesnt seem to bad.

Few other problems i need to sort,

if the arches are bad you can guarantee there are other bits that need doin, hope you get it sorted!

their not too bad pal but your gonna need a welder unless you wanna rivit them on and then use bodyfiller over the top i bought a welder ,the next thing i can tell u pal is the rot has started and your not gonna stop it unless u strip your car so i suggest u buy a waxoyl kit and do all of it

Yeah i have the car striped as trying to do a full resto on it. I have been welding some small holes in the floor then waxoiling the lot.

Take it you cut the old arch out and replace it with the new one???

if u can weld pal then your best cutting out every bit of rot and welding plates in ,it doesnt sound good but its better then rot i hate rot it keeps me awake at night thinking that my rs is gonna rot .
