Thats very interesting.

A very similar spec to an engine i am helping to build at the moment.

Different rods pistons, 8:1 CR and same turbo.

Are you using a black top engine? We are using E bottom end with black top head. Standard crank as you are.

We are using the same turbo. What size exhaust housing are you running?
When does it start making boost? What psi are you running?

We are aiming for a very similar 400-420bhp. Good to hear someone else has already achieved this goal.

Its a Black Top Engine.

Until I get a bigger intercooler it runs 1.4Bar and redlined Power Engineerings Dyno, which IIRC the 2WD Dyno is good for 300 @ The Wheels.

Uses the .86 Exhaust Housing

Once the the cooler is on its going to run around 1.6/1.7 bar and hopefully run around 450-460bhp

The cylinder Head will certainly help achieve this and maybe the addition of some gas

I pick it up from Primary Designs on Friday, I'll get some pics at FITP on Sunday of the engine bay.

No, When Ian Howell's Focus is finished it will beat mine by a fair few seconds on a 1/4 mile.

Ad's car is out of this world, Si's look & drives like a pretty stock ST170,,, untill you floor it, then theres Steve F's, lokks like a shopper & packs 300bhp hats off to you boys


btw, our 2wd dyno at P.E. reads 370-380 bhp at the flywheel, Big Ads car redlined the dyno & the power was stil climbing
