hello mate, yes it is.

its come on a fair bit recently and not far off being ready to MOT and map, but finding the time to actually do anything is proving difficult at the mo!

i reckon 1 good weekend on it will see it done!

that was the only place i could fit in mate, it has the vent pipe coming off it going to the top of the header, so in theory witht hat being the highest point it 'should' be ok. but like you say, its possible that air could get trapped in the pipe by the turbo.

all i can think of thats left, is to fit the wing mirrors, get the footwell welded, fit the battery strap to stop it flying out in a shunt, fit the longer studs in the rear hubs as the wheel nut thread only goes halfway into the nut and fit the brake bias adjuster and change the oil as it has fuel in it fromthe map its currently on. oh, and buy an air filter and thats it.

then its insusrance, mot, tax and then get the suspension set up.

yes, complete hayward and scott turbo back exhaust system and screamer pipe, and turbo damper.

the damper is about the only thing that fits!

that plan was to have it on track, but thats not going to happen. ill be pushed just to get it there running lol

-12 feed and -3 return to the header, and -12 breathers with a -6 iirc return to sump on the oil breather.

the money is not as much an issue now, obv i dont have thousands etc to throw at it, but its the time!

in the last 8 weeks, i have been away with work for about 6!

so cant even do stuff in the evenings...

last weekend i fitted the long studs to the rear, so al thats left really is to get the bit of welding done and throw it in for the mot as everything else can be done as and when.

but again, im in call this weekend so wont get any time to do it.....

i cant see it ever getting done as work are being cunts and keep sending me away all week

bit more done today after getting up at 4am after a massive 3 hours sleep, i had to work 10.5 hours...

got home and fitted the passenger seat and harness, fitted the mirrors although the n/s one is useless, i cant adjust it enough to see anything more than trees

and made a carbon plate to go in the hole where the handbrake bracket was cut out.

so all thats left now is:

buy/fit wiper arms
buy a gear knob (going to pop into quiafe on monday)
change oil
get hole in footwell welded - got hold of my mate round the corner, and got his welder out to set it up, but found that he had no wire left, and halfords had sold out . ill see if i can pop into a different halfords tomoz as i have to fooking work again...
make sure all the adjustable suspension bits are tight before it can be driven

then, MOT time...

im fooked now and have hit the wall, and iching all over from cutting that fooking carbon up, so its a shower and bed i reckon

paul, cheers mate, i forgot you have the kit aswell. wont get chance to do anything now till next weekend, but i managed to get hold of a reel of wire and some welding tips today, so should be good to go now.

went to quaife last week as i was working around kent, they are waiting on their suppliers for the nylon to make the gearknobs, i could get a different one, but i like the plain white ones lol.

joffy off here sent me some wiper arms FOC - big up that man for getting me out of a tight spot!

went into ford today and ordered a pair of washer jets, and the screws for the scuttle panels, should be in tomoz hopefully.

so now, i just need some number plates, and the welding doing.

bought some welding wire at the weekend, and my mate has set up his welder to do it, so i just need an hour in the even this week, or the weekend. was hoping to do it today, but it pissed down all day....

i just cant win

then there are a few odds and sods to do, but nothing that will affect the mot

its insured now, so need 1 small patch of welding doing then i can book it in for mot.

chip is going to map it on the way there etc, so that means a date when we are both free and i can get an mot appointment...

was hoping the end of the month, but thats looking a bit optimistic as i keep getting sent away with work almost every week at the mo.

anyone know of any decent paying jobs going lol?

when i left fast ford i was trying to take it reyland to let martin finish it, or at least do the brakes and fuel side of things, but he wasnt interested.

plus, you learn nothing by paying someone else!
