my cosworth managed fiesta rs turbo
hi chaps
here's some pics of my fiesta rs turbo that i've just finished a nut/bolt resto on the engine bay, owned the car a very long time(18 years) and a lot of you might know it threw OKC and the fast ford main feature back in 09,
the bay resto i've done everything myself in my garage, from welding to paint and everything in between, i never painted or welded anything before in my life but i feel quite proud of what i've achieved in the last 6 months, engine and gearbox is a really top spec too
anyway here's a few pics of it anyway

thanks glenn, it's not perfect by any means but i've been round a lot of bodyshops and picked up a few things, i geared up my garage with a new compressor and watertrap lines and fixings and just gave it a go, not sure i'd be confident to do anything on the outside yet but i feel quite proud of what i have achieved so far

hi stuart, long time, yes as you can work out all the looms have been hidden both management and general loom for lights ect, you would have had 2 large loom holes(1 each side) which has been welded up, the large back panel that would have had held the loom which would have run the entire width of the car has been removed, which has enabled me to leave the underside of the scuttle area all open, also lost the origional jack mounting point on the suspension turrett, all chasis parts powdercoated satin black lots of bolts and detiling bits pasivated silver, brand new engine and gearbox ultimate cvh spec
