They were the first club I found out about searching for 'street racing' during my early internet days in the early 2000's, the wangan, bosozoku, all that mad stuff, there's a few videos on youtube of wangan racers with chibakun, amazing stuff!
I have fond memories of seeing the 200mph+ porsche 'blackbird' & the 300zx as well as the crazy RX7's & nismo skyline - can't forget to mention smoky nagata aswell!. I'd love to go there someday.

Love type r limiteds.
I had 1 a couple of years back, came with stupid front lights,22b fibreglass bumper, steel bonnet and a few other rubbish mods.
Took a while to get it back to standard,I then pulled the engine out as I convinced myself it had a misfire, stripped it and got myself all tied up in closed deck blocks, new cranks etc etc and lost interest and sold it with the engine in the boot.
It was totally rust free as had never seen a winter in the uk.
Would have another 1 in a minute.

That's the best colours too. Nearly bought one many times. Lovely cars and brilliant B road bashers

Thanks for the kind words all.
Fullflush you beat me to it. They numbered the v6 vltds I think 1000 units were made and was last of the classic shape these are already demanding strong money.
Mine is a v5 non v ltd but still a limited (if that makes sense lol) v stands for victory. So mine doesn't have a build number as the v5 were only built to order, unknown built so very rare.
Stock exhaust sounds like a washing machine so I got I turbo back system to go on and maybe a dv

To sound an anorak the version 6's were not v limiteds either, they were numbered, iirc I had 504,blue seats, roof vent, dccd etc.
Can't remember why they were not v's now,you got a version 5 or 6 and a version 5 or 6 limited, think you only got a version 4 v limited and this had thinner glass and possibly an aluminium bootlid plus other bits.
This page is very useful.

Before I bought the saph I did glance again at the version 6's but I had more money than what they cost so I looked at bug eye s202's,put a deposit on 1 bug it was missing liars of bits so pulled out.
Kind if wish I had had a bit more patience and imported 1,could have bought 2 for what the saph has cost me!

Every time I see a v6 ltd advertised for sale it's a V, even in the jap auctions I have access to. The type ra page is very useful. Doesn't say v on it. Interesting
Still, cosworths for me any day

They are a total minefield as there's so many versions of the same thing, spec c ra,spec c widetrack, sti, tommy kiara, etc.
When I last looked I had 3 pages of notes on bugeyes so I had an idea what I was looking at.
Even on my v5 for my version 6 it was down as an estate!

Cheers Ran. Defo pop round as I've put a full system on it now and it sounds like Godzilla, makes me cream
Stock sti exhaust just made it sound like a washing machine running a little off sync
