Sapphire Cosworth 2wd - Reborn after 12 years off the road
My good old Cosworth that's been sitting in a barn for the last 12 years. Decided to give it some TLC and fire it up again. Originally planned to sell it, but the Cosworth passion has been rekindled... Just put on some 17" wheels today.

It feels just like it did 12 years ago! Amazingly, allmost everything works (heater fan is not working, haven't checked fuses or anything yet). Rear seal on transmission is leaking though. Have gotten a new one that I shall put on soon. It's a light and fun car. But time has moved on as well. My other car is a BMW F10 5-series with a straight six (petrol), Eibach springs and M5 competition pack sway bars running on 255/285 tires... The BMW is a good 600kg heavier, which you can feel on the Nurburgring, but it's "a bit" more refined...
The wheels are actually Focus ST170 7x17 wheels from my sons previous ST170. Had them lying around and just painted them white to see how they looked. Offset is wrong (ET49) so I have ordered spacers f/r (10mm/20mm). It sits on 5mm spacers f/r on the photos.

Thanks, and well spotted The car is built on a std Sapphire shell without a sunroof. Hence the wrong trim on the doors. Going to get that fixed over the next few weeks as well.
