Normal ignition gives power to both engines, but starts up front engine as per normal. The rear engine is then started by a starter button on the dash, once the kill switch is off. Its got a modified gearlinkage and clutches to get all working in sync!!
The build has been poorly done and wont take much to put it right but the car was cheaper to buy, than what it was to fix the T34 on my old Saff Cossie. So its just a toy to play around with, or to sell or break in the future.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Love stuff like this fookin mental but well done or not it's all there, plentiful if an engine lets go and still cheapish to run, put a few Ł and you'll have a cracker

Still have it. Not done much with it as im working abroad and its gonna cost more to sort out than i anticipated. Basically needs the whole rear end set-up redesigned. (Well a subframe and wishbones etc made up) Something i dont think i wanna pump money into!
Did think about breaking it, but recently advertised locally in NI for sale. But had no takers. So its lay at my cousins house going to waste!

Essentially the front end of another Saxo welded into it with alot of bracing. BUT...the person who built it didnt take bump steer and keeping the rear wheels true at all times!! So a subframe/wishbone set up would cure it, but f**k if its gonna be my money doing it! Haha

Out of interest what would something like this go for? i've seen people advertise rear engined saxo's/pugs with bike engines but no twin engine yet. I take it with the current setup its a bit like a puppy on a wet floor and all over the place

sounds like one of the guys off retrorides with his volvo, think his username is claymore. He put the front end in the back of his volvo and has done most of the work to get it on the road, not sure if he's got it back road legal yet.
