Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Great wee cars.Had 2 of the later 182s and my brothers on his 3rd 172 just now.Bang for buck you can't beat a sporty Clio I don't think. As long as you get a well looked after one that is.
Not sure on the older generation but a set of Michelin pilots transformed my first one, unbelievable the difference a good set of tyres can make to a car.

Thanks guys ... yea I'm thinking of pilots or Ad08's as I've had good times on both ..I'm not sure if it's because this car is light that the spec -2's work well ..not sure but to say there nearly dead and still make the car handle very well ..I'm unsure .

Ben
I really rate my Spec 2's on my T5!
Looks like a pretty tidy example mate, I bet you look enormous in it

Nice looking motor, to be fair Renault do seem to know how to make a good hot hatch, where abouts in north Wales are you these days? Got family dotted all over so I know quite a few places.

Works and plays on track
For just road use then Michelin PS3s. If it's occasional track use and like me, you can't be bothered with another set of wheels, then AD08Rs are a great choice mate. I'm hillclimbing on them too next week. Based on when you sell and how much, I may be interested in adding it to my two.

Ah right up that way, got family in Ruthin which aint too far from there, there's a great selection of back rods in that area! You're spoilt for choice up there, ideal playground for that car.

Great little cars.
I had a white valver back in the day.
Reliving my youth now with a Williams which keeps the series 2 company.
Would love another valver though. Let me know when/if you decide to sell as I will most probably be interested
