Default My new rs 2000 log as 1.3




Couple of bits need tidy up change the wheels get her ready for the summer

Do you mean that the V5 says it's a 1.3? If so, has it been built from a wrecked RS into a 1.3 shell and the DVLA not informed, presumably making it illegal and any insurance invalid?

Yes that is correct someone down the line wrecked there rs bought this shell put everything from the rs on this

As long as it's insured as a RS then doesn't matter.

But if I had re shelled an RS into this shell I would of transferred to ID too tbh.

And you wouldnt insure it as an RS as it isnt one,

would have to be insured as a modified 1.3 with an RS bodykit, interior and 2 litre engine..

Probably way more expensive to insure than a genuine RS..

Like my yard broom. Almost 20 years old and only had three new handles and four new heads in that time.

Garages have rebuilt write-offs with new shells. If write-off and rebuilt with a s/h shell is declared on the V5 would that work better than converted 1.3?

Well the guy who done must put in the shell for a reason so I no clue I took the car in deal with all the paper work for the engine and everything else so I am just goin use it as it drives good
