I have to say I didn't think the video was that mind blowing (the Mustang doesn't seem quite as rugged as the Fiesta or Scoobs of the past)...

...but the Mustang does sound immense. It's worth watching just for the sound!

Pretty good behind the scenes article on Gymkhana up on Speedhunters:

A friend sent me a link today on my phone & I thought nah, not on the phone.

Got it up on the tv through my stereo, shit loud, that v8 sounds the fucking biz!

I don't mind the sliding about but I could do without all the slow-mo bits and watch it in real time.

But anyway a massive v8 Mustang looking like that and sounding the way it does more than makes up for it.

I loved it.

I always see these videos as a bit of fun and worth a watch. But i always look at the tyre marks already there from him practicing and think, you could get Seb Loeb there and he'd do it in one take. Guess its for the cameras so they can have multiple takes but it kind of ruins it for me knowing hes tried a couple of times.

In gymkhana 5 when he does the jump to drift at about 5:45-6:00min you could see his tyre marks from previous attempts and one set looked like he'd had a fairly good whack at the barriers

I was thinking the opposite to be honest mate, I was wondering where everybody was. I know you can't have people in any of the areas where he is likely to be driving but there wasn't even anybody watching from a distance, it looked like they had totally cleared the surrounding areas apart from some of the roads.

I'm not sure how the tag "run from a bumming" is relevant

Same old same old though, I got bored after about the 3rd one.

Watch when he goes flying by the petrol station mate, you can see folk filling up as if nothing was happening
