My Final race of 2014
Last round of the 2014 Championship at Croft, made an average start from 3rd on the grid but still got into second place, swapped placed with Andrew in the seat a few times before he got away and I settled into 3rd place, then I got hit at the hairpin by a Caterham from the A/E race which started 10 seconds before us.
Recovered and got back to Paul in the massively quick Saxo in 3rd place but had done my tyres in so settled for 4th place at the finish with a new personnel best lap record of 1.35.099 so really happy overall,
The Video shows some very dodgy gear changes which I need to get better at!
Thanks to Jim for the use of the go pro much better quality than my camera!

Good racing Steve you were close to the barrier on the last bend before you go onto the straight. The car goes well. What gear box is in it now. Is it a 5 speed box or a 6.

The gearbox really did transform the car, had a few issues at the start like when the main shaft snapped in it's second race! It looks like it was already cracked and was just waiting to fail. I'm still not fully used to it as can be seen in the video but when I click with it it's amazing, its gearing is perfect for the tracks I've raced on.
Paul was right he said I would never want to go back to a normal box! lol
