2016 Mustang SVT testing at the Nordschliefe
Im gathering with the lack if topics surrounding the new Mustang on here, that there isnt a real passion for this particular Ford on here
Anyway for those who may be interested, here is a testing vid for the possible Mustang SVT. Rumour has it will have 435bhp from the factory, which leaves room for a Mustang Cobra, Shelby GT500 and other specials.
Personally i think it sounds phenominal. Enjoy

They keep saying they are going to release the mustang here but still hasn't happened.....does look good but still reminds me of something that should be named a 2 door mondeo rather than mustang

The first production car rolled off the lined in the US just last week, in time for its release there in november. Its next spring, it comes to Europe afaik!! And why badge it as a 2dr mondeo?? It wouldnt sell well. The Mustang nameplate alone will help sell it!

The V6 isnt going in the RHD cars as there is some problem with either the manifolds or heads or plenum, catching on the steering rack or something like that. Instead of sorting that problem, it was decided they wouldnt market that model/spec in RHD countries!!

Yea but the car has minimal heritage to show of a 60's mustang unlike the 2005 model, the rear windows look wrong, the engine choices are wrong, don't understand why they don't fit a straight 6 twin cam in it like the Aussies have in fords out there, and to sell it all they need to do is what they did in the 60's to make these cars kick off so well, they could be bought to any spec the customer requested, ie loads of interior options, coupe convertible or fastback, choice of engine spec air con auto or manual, these are all things that sold these cars so well back then, but now you'll prob have like 4 choices of interior option that will be allocated to a certain type of mustang ie you will only be able to get recaro leathers in the sporty ones where as back in the day any seat would have been fitted to any stang whether it be sporty or not, just my thought on it that's all, I'm guessing there's only going to be this body shape on sale?
