I'm not a real fan of it either but from the look of the description I think it's theirs so go for it! Promotional tool end of the day.

It's Lees personal car, who owns Devil Developments, so it acts as demo/development car, hence the stickers.

It sounds awesome, even at idle it sounds like no other Focus. It's more like a Cosworth! It's lost that muffled, 5-pot burble almost completely and revs like no other Focus I've heard.

I know because I took the video and put it on Youtube for Lee

The Syvecs is really clever, too. This is going to be a big thing for the Focus world I reckon.

I've not heard one rev so quickly like that before either.

Shame there is no build thread on here for it. I'd love to read it.

Si, do you know if he has done a
Build thread on any forums?

No, there's no build thread. As I say, it's just his own development car he plays around with to develop parts for the company. Current spec is forged pistons, steel rods, custom big valves and ported head (though this isn't needed for the current power, he's done a few 500+bhp cars without this), Devil Developments tubular exhaust manifold with GTX30.76 turbo, his own rising rate fuel system and a couple of other little bits.

It was on Revo and used to make 520-530bhp at around 1.7 bar from memory. The plan with the Syvecs is because it runs a fuel flex, it knows what octane fuel is being put in and adapts the map to suit that by itself, so he's going to pour a mix of meth straight in the tank and aim for 600bhp. Proper clever stuff!

What exactly is Syvecs? Is it a kind of management?

I imagine it's on an unloaded run, car sounds nice and it's good to see someone finally moving away from the stock ecu

Yeah, mappable ECU, used a lot on Subaru...

Plug n play on Subaru , not sure if it is the case for the Focus?

Lee is working on the syvecs ecu being plug and play for the RS & ST and from the video's and info he has posted on the ST & RS forums its going to be the next must have for big powered Focus's

Lee really is starting to get the recognition he deserves he's done a few big powered RS's including his own and Clive's ST which is running 550+bhp now on an ST block

I know when he did my RS turbo conversion he was starting to get fairly busy and since he's pretty much busy all the time and tbh he need a bloody secretary to answer the phone and thats when he hasn't put it down and forgot where he's put it
