My ST !

Well not much been happening with the focus lateley - it got a bit of luurvvin the other week [ jus a little bit mind ]
Regassed the A/C even though it seemed to be working OK, wasnt sure if it had ever been done , so decided to take the oppurtunity to keep it sweet, which it did.... even though I hardly use it
Duly noted that underbonnet is manky, anyone reccomend any good cleaning solutions ???
It then got some dents removed which have been there since I got it - it really needs a good couple of days paint correction too....
Apart from that it has been behaving as it should ! ,
Gonna order some gel overlay badges / wheel centre caps & some new numberplates from DMB graphics soon I think, undecided on what style of numberplates to go for.
Then im just deciding what route to go down next with it, still thinking of Eibach springs & front polybushes....., also hopefully gonna end up with DSCi induction kit.
Been thinking of taking it to Jamsport next year , for thier block mod & a mapping session, see what they can reliably get out of it..... , time will tell ! Kinda enjoy driving it too much at the minute to fuck on with it , if that makes sense
In other words , I do have plans for it..... but no financial backup at present

Evenin all !
Been a while since ive updated this - [ whey not much of an update really but thought id share all the same ]
Decided to go with some eibach springs 20 - 25mm for the focus , and some powerflex front arm polybushes , hardly wallet bursting stuff , but due to tight financial reasons I can only do little bits to the car at a time ! ,
Anyways , really happy with the results , wasnt expecting a set of springs and bushes to make such a difference - 20 & 25mm doesnt sound like a lot .... but I was suprised when it came down off the ramp especially the front !
It has improved the drive of the car , and now feels much more positive and tighter when turning in , sure its never gonna feel like its on coilovers - but a 100% improvement over standard
When it came doon off the ramp....
It was minging here , due to the shite weather weve been having in the "sunny" north east ...., arse is still a bit high .....but the nose doon stance is kinda growing on me !
Finally got a quick wash and hoover done today [started raining during play ]
Cheers for taking a look anyhoo...... hope everyones doing well ! Must try and get on here more often ,
Cheers

Thanks very much mate Its been minging for weeks - like I say just gave it a quick wash today and done the inside quickly , then as I was dressing the tyres the rain started
Much happier with the way it looks now mate - loads have suggested spacers , they do look good - however the more I look at it the way it is , The more I like it !
Itll do for the minute anyways , cheers Jay

Looking good mate!
They definitely look nicer when they've been lowered a little bit. The spacers will make it look a lot better though!! I didn't like mine with out the spacers really, the wheels looked like they sat to far in!
I think the Eibach springs are just the right height tbh, for me anyway.

Yes mate I'm much happier with it down slightly , will probably end up with spacers but just gonna leave it as is at the minute - how's your fleet ?

The Cossie's had better times as the geezer that done the underside hasn't done a particularly good job on the underside and it's gone rusty again so that's pissed me off but on the upside it's going in to have it's exhaust made on wednesday so all being well should be running in a couple of weeks.
Hopefully!!!
The ST is ok, just getting a bit bored with it now and my mind keeps wandering over to BMW E39 M5's!!!
ST170 hasn't been used for months as I've been using the ST but that's all good!
What's next on the ST horizon then?!

It's going to Edwards Motorsport for the exhaust and they come very highly regarded by a few folk I've spoken to so I'm confident it's going to be in good hands so the exhaust should be good!
As for bodywork, I've spoken to Gaz up in Durham about doing mine and he's quoted me a good price so all being well with the car this year, the bodywork will be sorted once and for all with someone who cares about what theyre doing!
I think I may just make the move to an M5, I still really like my ST though but I just need more power!! Lol! Always wanted an M5 though!
Nothing too major planned for yours then! I think that's the key really, don't go too mad and keep it enjoyable!

At least you've had an ST mate - move to an M5 would be epic !
If I could afford to go a bit mad with it I'd like it forged , RS turbo / conversion , and build a 400+bhp sleeper ...... But that is but a dream at the moment , so just trying to keep it real mate and inkeeping with what I can afford
I certainly don't plan to get rid of it any time soon , so we shall see
