No it's diesel. But it's got a tow bar. Be nice to use as tow vehicle when taking cars to track

you would need to get one with the capri axle if your planing on towing things for the weight as i may be wrong but i dont think the cossie rear would like it much lol , if you do find one with a capri rear ask the ratio of the diff as i had one before the cossie rear it was non lsd 3.09 with diesel 1.8td gearbox , you had to slip the clutch like mad to get it to move so just a heads up for you .
there is a white one on ebay just now for Ł1650 , think its got the capri rear

The cossy rear would be fine! Think of all the sierra's back when that towed race cars and caravans.
The independent cossy suspension is better than the Capri axle. The estate sierra had weird rear arms, with like, coil overs that would mean you wouldnt have to cut into the skip! The dampers run inside the springs.

If not, coilovers with stiff springs would be able to take it i would have thought!

Good runner, 1.8 petrol K plate. Wants Ł600 for it. No tax or test so I left it

Sierra IRS will go in easy mate. Don't bother with a Capri LSD IMHO. Look at my build thread if you need help with it.

Also if you are going to buy one, make sure the tub and tail are sound as they are hard to find without dents or Rott.

^^^ very true i managed to get a brand new orginal ford tailgate for mine but i do think that was just luck lol.

as for the cossie rear being able to be used for towing yes it could be but it as said depends on springs shocks as for mine the rear axle set up is not designed for towing , but the easy option is the capri rear and if you really wanted to you could use the orginal p100 springs on lowering blocks.

you dont need to cut into the tub to fit coil overs as i have them on mine with no mods to the tub

Would it be possible to replace the front hubs of the P100 with complete hubs from a Granada or Scorpio to be able to fit the Ford Granada Cosworth 16 Inch Wheels ?
