Default BBR Mogul 400??

Does anyone have any pics of this legend?

It was dark dark green from memory, and around in the late 80's.

Does it still exist?

Thanks

I think you might be right Lee, that does kind of ring a bell.

That article in Fast Lane mag was 88 or 89 originally wasn't it?

Heres a statement from their current Website .

We have also seen the highest top speed ever recorded by a Cosworth. Our "Mogul 400" reached 186mph around Hockenheim!! At that speed, the air pressure on the car was so great it began to force the doors open!

Love the last line

The missus knows one of the owners via work. It exists in the Far East.

I guess on that front Rod you can speak from expeience eh?! Are the doors really forced open at 186?!

Does anyone have that article thaey can scan up, or the original in Fast lane?! What wheels did it run? Black centred weren't they?

THanks

David Brodie told me he blew a tyre in the fast lane at warp speed in the Mogul and the car was then reshelled, refurbished and shipped out to a Malaysian Prince. There was a photo in one of the mags with him holding up the shattered wheel, this was around 1998 and I think it happened a year or so before.

that car your on about richard was lime green and the one mentiond regarding the King of Malaysia was a dark green one. I remember the lime green mogul 400 it was passed around every sub standard performance car dealer in the north west automart around when you say and ended up in dealers in st helens the last time i saw it.
i heard that it got painted a proper color as that lime green was so late 80's early 90's

I could scan them in tomorrow ( the loft ladder is under my son's bed and i'm not going to wake him! ) - mags are in loft.

I do remember the interior colour was described as "Bullfrog Green" and it hit 100 in a timed 10.4 seconds ( which a lot of 360bhp+ can get close to or surpass )

Digging into the archieves here! was a good spec car back in the day and some impressive performance figures.when it was featured in fast lane they also timed a 400hp rs500 with nitrous on top and listed a set of figures for the both cars and the current fastest production car,the lambourghini countach, the mogul was very close and the 500 was faster at some stages!
The video against the bike is good too,iv still got that!

the dark green one was featured in max power too back in the good old days and car and car conversions,it was tested in triple c along with a certain famous stoke on trent cosworth tuner who later suffered a costly matrimonial fiasco
