My Series1.....

I bought my 1st S1 in April after selling my Saph Cos, To date i have bought new AVO Suspension and chrome/polished goodies under the bonnet. My plans are to get the show season over and done with then get it painted in the winter (although no-one thinks it needs one-just me bein picky

) and putting the blue decals back on................

comments and/or opinions welcome

I really do like that but ambers on the front look loads better, well they do on mine!

Stunning!! Diamond cuts would look better then Softlines though!

Not a fan of chrome but still looks nice!

Yeah Blue decals would look better although it looks real nice as it is!!!

well i thought about diamond cuts when i got it, i had them on my Saff. But these softspokes have really grown on me and i dont see many (if any) with them on!

Yeah the Softlines are great its just im a fan of MK3/4s with Dimonds on (Personal Preference tho)

i,ve now bought a focus rs but there just not the same but cant see me going back to a s1 as tryin to find another in that condition would be impossible

well many differences both ways really, The saff having the luxury of leather and a great driving position and a shovel load of power, The Escort with the looks, cheaper bills, great handling for a fwd and the wow factor!

I'd have to say overall they are both fantastic cars, but i am happier with this than the saff as i have wanted one since being a kid, and that the paranoia of the Cossie going bang and the big re-build bill swinging it towards the Escort!
