inspiration needed folks!! need to see standard sapph pics please(pics added 24/01/)

as title ive just brought another sapph as i fancy a little project but its quite modded so im feeling the standard look as its in very good condition so wanted to put it back to what it should be so lets see what ya got folks

alright mate yea bought it lol dont know why lol just fancied another this one just kept grabbing my attention everyday when i saw it but its too clean to be modded so fancy putting it back to standard looks for now. so what about you then bud you not got another yet then ???? see your still at your job then things picking up ??

see now its weird ive had every cossie you can think of and they have always been modded wheels more power etc but at the moment i just think they look so much better in standard condition man i must be getting old or something lol

the only reason ive had to go big is brakes or i would have stayed standard all day long, just finished engine bay so yes do need to take some

I prefer the standard look now they are getting rarer. Seeing a standard Cosworth is a very rare sight these days.

heres mine, ive put a set of 17" oz super t's on since but i might put the standard wheels back on. Get some pics of your yoke up

hi mate nice pics ive just noticed you have perrys plates on yours i work for perrys in aylesbury im a ford tech/commercial manager lol and you are in wycombe small world lol.ive just brought a 2wd white g plate stage 3 18"comp mo's big wilwood brake's etc but as said im really feeling the standard look and the body on mine is very good so think ill put it back to as standard as i can.ill get some pics up at weekend

My brother works at Perry's in Wycombe and he worked over at Aylesbury for a time. When I bought the car I had him make me up new plates for it.

Car sounds nice, white Sapphires look the nuts

It'll be a shame to lose the big brakes but you'll get some good money back on those parts. I'll look forward to seeing the photos

Yer your wright it is a very straight car an Adam always looked after it / kept it clean etc , Keep looking at them an very nearly bought a flint grey 2wd off ebay last week that had done 49k ... No unfortunatley works still pretty bad i have never known it this slow

its holding me back from buying one or something simlar, but ive got itchy feet an theres only so long i can put up with driving my run around wagon full time 4 lol

nearly bought that car myself but my racing came 1st in the end, i noticed the cossie outside perrys the other day looking very nice, i work over at buildbase and have a recovery transit so if you ever need anything give me a shout.

Bailey1 - So your the chap that bought it! I had my eye on that one. Ive got a completely standard 2wd one now if you fancy swapping the wheels and brakes over with some cash your way. Your not that far from me we could do it on my driveway in an afternoon
