The mk2 was a police car originally ,The mk1 is not a standard lotus both are getting restored and are in my possession
You are a lucky man to have got a mk1 and a mk2 Lotus Cortina. The mk1 looked the worst but the mk2 looked in better condition? How far have you got with the restorations?
Do you know that for sure or are you just guessing? The longer they are left uncovered the worse they will get and it will cost loads more to fix them. It is just plain crazy to me that you would leave them like that. Also they are just asking to be stolen!

Hate seeing old fords going to waste, I have seen pictures on facebook of a load of skylines and stuff sat rotting outside of the HKS factory in Japan, I could get them on here if anyone wants a look (thought I'd ask as this is a ford thread)

No its not me I'm afraid, its on a facebook page I'm on, they are believed to be outside of the HKS factory in Japan. Former development cars or something, not fords but its still a shame to see.
