a think it was something do with highway maintenance the man was telling me it hasn't seen a road for over ten years it was parked up and left to rot

nice find on the mk2 transit.....id cut the chassis and get it extended and make it into a transporter.....theres a lovely one here in ireland done

This sad old Mk5 RS2K is a couple of minutes from me in St Albans. Been there at least 10 years. Did have a cover but I think it rotted away.

I've no interest in buying it but could pass on the location if someone fancies a challenge.

There saved ,Story is the lady who owned them passed 30 years ago
They have been layed up 33 years ,The guy could not bare to part with them
The mk2 was a police car originally ,The mk1 is not a standard lotus both are getting restored and are in my possession

Do you know that for sure or are you just guessing? The longer they are left uncovered the worse they will get and it will cost loads more to fix them. It is just plain crazy to me that you would leave them like that. Also they are just asking to be stolen!
