yes there pretty hard to come by,i dropped on mine by mere chance, they only come on lwb minibus petrols and were a optional extra,not even ambulances have them

cheers lads,yes you can get new panels but there dear,i just wanted a quick tidy job on it, the power steering box is just like the normal on except hydraulic pipes going into it,removing it is the hard bit as it goes through the chassis/inner wing and has a drop arm linking the drag link arm,these need a special puller and i had my box gas axed out the van and spent 3 month trying to find someone with a puller or ability to remove it this including every transit breakers/land rover garages,

there is more different to the mk4/mk5 smiley wings are wider etc the mk3 is based on the mk2 hence why power boxes are a fortune as the mk1 mk2 boys want them

Just saved a series 2 rst from a garden locally, running over 200bhp with a bucket full of receipts for piper cam, cosworth turbo, exhaust, chips etc etc...

Seems to have been a project that got to much for the owner and then left on the drive, beleive it or not tho it has MOT till NOV and Tax till end of month...got it for a bargain too

I found a nice orange Mk1 escort yesterday sitting on a driveway with flat tyres, not sure how long it had been there, considering knocking on the door to see if it's fir sale before I divulge any details to my local ford people so I get first dibbs on it. It's a 3dr and still looks clean so I don't think it's been there that long, only the tyres were a giveaway.

Saw a few granada mk3s left to rot. One outside someones house and some in a farmers field. Think 2 were cossie 24v. Farmer wanted them to rot though. And saw a sierra sat outside someones house but it was scrapped end of last year

Just read this from page one, shame to see people aren't prepared to pass these cars on.

Down the road from where I used to love is a small allotment area sort of thing. There has been a Sierra (I may be wrong there though) and a FRST sat in there for a while. The sierra has been sat in there for as long as I can remember, must have been there a good 10+ years and the Fiesta hasn't been there as long.

Not sure if they are replicas or what, only 4 houses in the area as well so finding the owner will be fairly simple.

I will try and get some photos.
