Default My Saph

Some pics of when i picked her up, not in bad nick.
2.0L DOHC version with very little rust, paint work needed some attention but has now been taken care of, also the steering wasnt working so i had to sort that.

Sadly i have no pictures of the work being carried out as we didnt have a camera handy.
She has been resprayed orange, and lowered.
She has also had slight modification so that she has dual controls

And here are 2 little videos of her being driven after the work had been done, she now drives like a treat.

I'm all for a bit of fun and all that, but what you're saying is, you took one pretty rust free twin cam Sierra, and ruined it?

To some people yes, but just cos it doesn't have the badge on it, doesn't mean it should just be thrown away. Decent ones are starting to pick up in value now as they're getting so hard to find.

But hey, what do I know

Why not sell them? Then just buy crap ones to race? Plenty of shit ones about, took me sodding ages to find a half decent one!

because rot ones dont take a crash as well as they are a lot weaker and as it is banger racing we want them to be as hard as possible. the xr4 has not got a spot of rust on but that is gonna be turned in to a stock car not a banger so if anyone needs any spares let me no

Just weld em up? Don't exactly have to look neat.

Sorry, your cars and all that, but I hate seeing decent condition cars wrecked when enthusiasts would buy them, such a waste

your not allowed to weld them, as it would be possible to strengthen them too much. most of the stuff we use is rot its just now and then we get a neat one.
