My Volvo 850 T5-R
I thought i'd put some pics up of my daily driver. So impressed with it, one of the best cars i've ever owned and is an absolute pleasure to drive aswell.
So here it is, a 95' Volvo 850 T-5R. The T-5R was only made in 1995 and came in 3 colours. Black, Yellow and a metallic green. All the cars after that year are known as simply 850R. Slightly different cars.
It has half leather and alacantara interior, Electric EVERYTHING (it all works), A/C, Cruise Control and the best sound system i've ever heard in a standard car.
This one as you would expect from a car I drive has been slightly breathed on. It has a Rica ECU upgrade which is supposed to be producing 280-300bhp. It has an uprated exhaust and a BSR Air filter (Sounds quite nice on boost).
The chassis is where most of the money has been spent though. The suspension has been binned in favour of Koni FSD shock absorbers with H&R Springs and front and rear IPD anti-roll bars finished with a Volvo front strut brace. The brakes have been replaced with Drilled discs all round upgrading to 302mm discs on the front with Ferodo DS2500 pads and Goodridge hoses.
The wheels are the standard 17" Titans with 205/45 R17 Pirelli P zeros' all round.
These are quite rare in saloon model not to mention it's Black and a Manual also.
Well hope you like and as usual all comments welcome.
Could do with a bit of a setup though me thinks, make sure i'm still getting all my ponies.

Cheers all,
I find the Saloon or 854 model sits alot nicer on the road at speed. The estates i've driven tend to wander, I presumed it was down to side winds.
I used to love Volvo's in the BTCC aswell and were one of my favourite teams. The car drives very nicely on the road, just considering to get a nicer exhaust for it so that I can appreciate the lovely noise the engine makes a little better.

The more turbos,more fun!
I agree tbh, backend on my estate goes very light in corners and you can find yourself really trying hard to correct it, all good fun though.

Nearly bought an S70 TDi a couple of weeks ago myself.
These things are built like absolute tanks and, despite being a bit hefty in the weight stakes, don't half shift!!!

Lad i work with he has a 850 T5 in black but unlike yourself has not done the suspension mods, quick in a straight line but so scary in the corners, also has a Rica chip but hes a bit of a cock driving it, fastest thing on the road according to him even the gaffers caymen struggled against it! Yeah right
On a plus note its done 160000 miles and never been took to bits engine wise!
