If you are refering to the 12pin bulkhead plug then i think there the same as the 105ps car as was told ecu's are a straight swap between the non pats ext. edis ecu's???

If they are than this should work for you, asi now have mine in and running using these as connections.

92FB-12A650-CD 2FBCD ECU:
12PIN BULKHEAD CONNECTOR:

PIN1 COIL +12V FUSED (BLACK)
PIN2 FUEL PUMP RELAY EARTH TRIGGER PIN22 ON ECU (BROWN)
PIN3 REV COUNTER TACHO PIN4 ON ECU (GREEN)
PIN4 OCTANE ADJUST PIN29 ON ECU (BROWN/WHITE)
PIN5 ENGINE CONTROL RELAY PIN37,57 ON ECU AND POWER FOR ALL SENSORS (BLACK/GREEN)
PIN6 OIL PRESSURE SWITCH (BROWN/GREEN)
PIN7 CONSTANT +12V FOR ECU MEMORY (RED)
PIN8 HEGO (LAMBDA) +12V FUSED 15A (BLACK/RED)
PIN9 ENGINE TEMP SENDER (BROWN/WHITE)
PIN10 AIRCON TRIGGER PIN10 ON ECU (BLACK/WHITE)
PIN11 AIRCON TRIGGER PIN54 ON ECU (BROWN/GREEN)

thanks for that, I'll use it too, but I'm looking for the ECU pinout: the 60 pins...

I've found a pinout but without EDIS. Mine works with EDIS

I'm looking to do this to my mk3 escort estate,
got an engine loom and gearbox from a 97 escort gti coming, bike carb setup from chester sports cars to ditch the injection system,
Can I use the gearbox from the gti or better to get a cvh turbo box or similar..
What exhaust manifold do people use?

excellent thread

If your looking for a pin out chart its best to look at the haynes manual for the pin no.s fiesta or escort/orion manual should give you what you want, but as you would need the engine loom anyway just makes more sence to go off the 12 pin multi plug unless you are intending on making your own loom up?

Hello, need some advice.. seen your post however still confused.

Im using the Blacktop head, same bottom end but a 2.0, its had the Mtx gearbox however the engine wont fit at all box catches and hangs to far no space at all so i fitted the cvh turbo box from my old engine, no joy.

Places its catching are.

Gearbox, and also rear bottom pully, which catches just where the driveshafts fit, and the alternator also catches.

Should i remove the alternator, and place this on the front as you have said, and remove that pully?

what mounts are best, and what else do i need to mod so the engine goes in and mounts??

Thanks, sii

Hi i have a mk2 fiesta originally 1 litre and i have a silvertop 1.8 zetec from a mk6 escort. I have the engine fitted and i have bike carbs from a honda cbr900 fitted to the engine i now need to know how to get it started spark wise.I am on a very tight budget so any help would really be appreciated. Ive been told to use an esc module from a mk4 escort is this right? And is there any other way to do it as i cant seem to find an esc module. And also you said to use cvh alternator and alternator mount etc. will the ohv mount and alternator work? if i use the original ohv alternator and mount with zetec pulley what kind of belt do i need? Thank you very much this is all thats in the way of getting my car that i have put a huge amount of work into started so i hugely appreciate it.

did you you the lamda sensor ? thought i'd have to change my box but just seeing your last pictures there might be a ray of light .... i'll be using the pats loom which i hope to chop of the pats as it only cuts off the negertive for the fuel pump relay, starter and two other thick wires which i hope to solve shortly ...... as for the relays that control the fuel pump i'll try and manage it ...as im going from carb to zetec power

Well I used the si fiesta loom took off what I didn't need and had to add wires for the fuel pump, but the wiring was easy as hell but was a bit daughting at the time..... The engine mount needs adapting and the exhaust needs modification

Hi all.
I've been thinking of an engine upgrade for a few months now.
Just a quick question, would I be able to do this with a 1.8 engine out of a mk6 gti escort!
Also, would I be able to use my standard 1.6 cvh gearbox?

Thanks,
Tom

To be honest I found it easy to look on the Internet for every bit of wiring and the conversion just typed in fiesta multi plug and it all came up takes a little looking into

Default zetec conversion

hi guys ive just put a 16v zetec in my mk4 cabby as big ends went on shitty cvh.i bunged it in with zetec gearbox and efi manifold and used the wiring harness of my mk4 and all i had to do was extend the oxgygen and water temp sensor plugs and swap the throttle sensor plug for zetec as cvh one was diffrent everything else was alredi there and had to f**k around with hoses but ended up using the mk6 escort bottom rad hose and runnin it across the top of rad and but works fine and all runs sweet i used the cvh alternator bracket and the zetec alternator and a shorter belt all done for the grand total of Ł200 for the donor mk6 cabby and i made Ł210 of selling most of the parts i didnt need so all in all i did my conversion for a grand total of minus Ł10 yay
