I only ever had one that was near, maybe a sleeper I don't know, and it was fun.

A Honda Accord 2.0 Ltr Executive Auto,87/87can't remember but it was an E reg.

Well,I took it to work one day and afterwards offered a couple of the girls a lift home.

They laughed at me-but I shocked 'em lmao

The car was a mess-looked like a grandad but fucked like a teenager

Very fast, and did surprise a fair few.

Wish I still had it,the old rustbucket :-(

I want a sleeper.

A mate has actually offered me a 1.0 (possibly 1.2, but is most basic engine and spec available) mk1 clio 3 door for Ł250, car is sound, engines fucked. Has eibach suspension that apparently doesnt need to be swapped for bigger engines...

A clio williams 2.0 16v engine is circa Ł400 ? but what i dont get is how i can fit bigger brakes to it whilst retaining the factory steel wheels ????

You'll be able to find some 15" steel rims on another renault im sure. (one of the larger ones)

for example nova owners sometimes use vectra v6 steel wheels which fit the v6 288mm brakes under them!

Some cool cars in here, but only about 4 that are proper sleepers, XJ220 Tranny, Mk2 Escort Ghia in particular.

I realy like that Lupo. Makes me want one.

Ive got an old Mini World mag. Some guy put a 1.8 Integra Type R engine into his Mini, about 230bhp i think. Had to make the front a few inchs longer and specially made rims to fit the brakes.

Also remember seeing a Renault Clio, bubble shape, in burnt orange. Standard 1.2 on the outside with black steelies and an tuned Audi S3 engine.

great car though
