one of the best sleepers i have seen is a bloke that we meet up with had a 1.8 turbo Metro, no dump valve, standard looking, factory wheels, full interior etc... but ran 14s 1/4 and kept up with my mates evo... it also blew my Celica away haha i was totally shocked!

People need to realize the difference between building a sleeper car. ....(get a base model car with stock exterior and interior and stick a walloping great engine in it)...and doing an engine swap!

heres my mk1 mondeo zetec turbo which is a bit of a sleeper. recently dynoed at 278bhp @ 4600rpm (boost was dropping off above that due to blowing turbo gasket and turbo oil-seal leak, but i've had new gaskets on now so its probably nearer 290)

its caught quite a few people out, nobody expects a mondeo to be fast. theres very few out there which are quick, but alot of mondeo's out there plastered in horrendous bodykits and stickers which *think* they are fast haha
