Lovely looking car, credit to you mate.
The Tennis Editions were all white, the SE 500 were Pacifica Blue and had an RST kit and rims on, but a 3i engine. Hard t come by now as a lot were nicked and most will have had RS engines put in by now anyway. Stunning looking cars.

Tennis
I have one now, and would be looking to refurbish or resell.
Basics 14300 miles only, the radio isn't working, the motorized soft top is not working, and the passenger electric window is only working off driver's door, and slowly at that.
Probably needs a respray, but not sure if this is advised, as the original paint shows it to be a tennis edition. The engine hood cable is broken, and opens via a cable attached to the latch. The car dies if left to idle the first couple of minutes unless it warms up.
Also the soft top is a bit worse for wear, and there are some minor rust spots. What do you guys think I should budget for repairs?

Looks fantastic Gaz, really like that. Loving the seats to, I remember them seats being in the xr3i cabriolet g plate 1990 in the pacific green type colour and of course the blue which has already been mentioned. A rare car nowadays, really nice to see that, nice pics.
Thanks. Lee.

I used to love my old one. Not a tennis model though. I had a D reg one, It was on 85,000+ miles when I got it in 2005. I thought I was cool in it. But really it was a money pit, and the most unreliable car i've ever owned. It leaked when I first got it, new roof fitted sorted that out, But in hot weather it'll piss coolant out every drive and in the wet it'll cut out and wont restart if I went over a puddle.

As said previously the Tennis model had a white soft top. The seats in the Tennis were specific to the model grey half leather Recaro's with the logo embroidered and not the hard plastic badge. Pretty sure it had 14inch wheels with pearl white wheel trims. I still have a set of wheel trims in the shed they look a little like the Sierra Ghia alloy wheel of the period.
The SE500 had XR3i style seat's in two tone leather with matching door cards, they were not Recaro seats. Very few had the seats changed as the Recaro's didnt match the door cards.
Most parts are easily changed, finding an original example will be difficult.

Doesn't surprise me, she seems to love the car alot.
so she has your car, Cabriolet gets sold? What will be the next car?
Also to add to the thread, My Cabriolet came with those pearl white wheel trims. They looked great, I stored them in my parents shed, but they got chucked a couple of years ago.
