i had never ever even seen a 3dr estate one of these on the roads in Ireland, so when one came up for sale in the classifieds I decided to do the 7 hour round trip to save it from a bunch of lads who wanted it for a field car.
Its remarkably solid, nothing worth talking about in terms of rust and only a few simple mechanical faults to sort,,,42k verified.
Going to drop it by about 30-40mm on to 14"(maybe15") banded steel wheels, might get some red bumper strips/trims.
1300 HCS is strong and economical but a Zetec could be on the cards when money is better.

I saw a really shinely metalic gold combi a few years ago at Milton Keynes cruise (when it was huge) It had a RS kit i think with a spoiler as well. I do think they need the spoilers

yeh i recognise that van but didnt look that good when i bought it,i bought it as a rolling shell and needing a respray really but never got that far unfortunately,i pulled out infront of a car that was going faster than i thought, they spun me nearly 180 and then into a sign post, passenger side chassis leg was touching the gearbox and took a chunk out of one of the fiesta st alloys i had on the car,was gutted as had always wanted a van even instead of an estate really but nevermind,i will upload a pic of it after the accident at the weekend
