LOL Well its quite strange as he was a proper jap fan and loved my evo's and skyline ect and always wanted a skyline when he could afford it passed his test and went I have found a s2 on ebay can I borrow the money to get it and coarse me being a idiot to we went and looked at it and came home with it lol . Then after about 6 months he came in and said I have a bank loan I want a cossie his mom and I both said you have time to return the loan just wait his reply was well I want one so dad you either come and help me or ill go get one so after looking at a few gems we found a black 4x4 with 68k and low owners and fsh for a bargain price and fortunately it hasnt ended upside down in a ditch and ended up being a nice car and a nice investment for him

Great story Jay, love that. I got my love for cossies when I was about 15, my mams cousin bought a brand new F plate 2wd white sapp with raven leather, it was awesome. I wasn't interested in cars at this point but couldn't take my eyes of this car as they lived down the bottom of our street, so I saw the car most days going/coming home from school.I said to myself one day I'm gonna own one of them.Anyway fast forward 4 yrs later, I passed my test, then I wanted a cossie at some point.
I couldn't afford the insurance, so when I was 25 I had my first cossie in 1999, J plate 1 owner 70k moonstone 4x4 with cloth.Since then I have had a further 7 cossies, just love them. Don't get me wrong I have got fed up with them and had a break, gone to other performance cars but nothing in my opinion that I have driven comes close to a cossie, it's a love hate thing, I'm sure a lot of owners can relate to that for sure.

Thanks.Lee.

I had a mk5 R32 in the deep pearl blue, very modern, lovely car but as you say not raw enough. I also had the mk4 R32 in the same colour that was a little more raw, again a lovely car, something you could use everyday, it is no cossie. It's a bit underpowered for a 3.2 when you compare it to say the M3, had e46 M3 to..lol.

Thanks. Lee.

They're 8x17 comps and the colour is bronze chrome powdercoat, it changes depending on the light.

Good time of year to start the preps rolled mine out the garage today and fired it up, removed the rear brakes since a caliper was seized, but that has now got me wanting to drop the whole beam and paint it because I don't want to fit new calipers onto shitey hubs

Do you have much to do?
