Build a box yourself mate, ive done quite a few using the bigger type mainshaft bearing etc which is still available to buy, then just clean and fit a lsd pretty much a stage 1 cts box, i had two of these home built boxes in my fwd cossie powered rst which held up fine so depending on your power ?

Its the same INA bearing cts use, you just have the casing machined and have it pressed in, the bearing comes with a sleeve so if your mainshaft is a little worn the sleeve just taps over then end to make it good again but check to make sure the shaft isnt completely useless or you will have issues, obviously always best to start with a good 2nd hand box that drives ok and go from there. A few pics of one that i built, ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'll double check but i think off hand it was about £50 for the bearing, any good bearing supplier can get this for you, machining was about the same and then just your gaskets and oil seals, oil. i done it for about £100 and on there website the box's start from £540 so defo worth a go.
