Ford Fusion 2 interior fan and AC problem
I have a Ford Fusion 2 (Diesel). My fan blower only worked on 1,2 and 3. Position 4 worked along with the AC. We have only one Ford Dealer where we live and they charge a mortgage, so I go to a local “expert”.
He gets into the driver’s side well, up under the dash and comes out with a white square plug with 2 terminals at the head of it. He then proceeds to wrap bare copper wire between the 2 terminals, solders them and replaces. I had Function on 1, 2, 3 and 4 plus AC for 3 days, then all of a sudden my engine dies and the battery gives up.
My question is – can anyone identify this plug and provide me with a part number please?
I know, I know, but living where we do, there is very little choice and only one Ford dealer.
