Default v6 cosworth into xr4i

does any body no what it takes to fit the 24v cosworth lump into an xr4i. im looking for as much info as possible the main thing is the wiring diagrams

Im doin the same conversion into a 1.8 saff, its easier in the 4i cos its v6 already, the wiring isnt as bad as some people make out but you gotta be patient and have a good plan of action otherwise it will be a headache. As far as im aware the only stumbling point you may have is the xr4x4 2.9's have a speed sensor on the gearbox and that helps the 24v lump to maintain idle when pulling up at junctions, but the 4i has a type 9 box and no sensor so not sure how you overcome this... or people may put me right and say it dont need it????? Either way good luck and keep us posted when you do the conversion
