Cougar
Hello people - Newbie alert
I have just bought myself a x-pack v6 Cougar. A lot of car for the money as I only paid £3500. It suits my journey to work better than my xr2i 16v that I had before. Just wanted to know if there are any fellow owners on here. I was at combe this year and only saw one other Cougar. Currently mines standard which should change gradually over time. Nothing ott just nices wheels, lowered and a stainless exhaust. I've had Fords all my life (Im 29) mostly fiestas 1300s, xr2, xr2i and a straight from the factory turbo technics xr3i. This is my first grown up ford i suppose, so it would good to know your thoughts on the big cat.

I think they're not a bad car! The V6 go's well in Jim Galballys Saff
This months Performance Ford Magazine has a brilliant buyers guide for the Cougar, it includes tuning ideas too WELL worth buying
P.S The old mans got a 2.0 litre for sale [all trade facilities, p/ex, finance, warranties available etc.] if any of your mates fancy trying to keep up with ya

A bit late I know, but I'm a fellow Cougie!!!
It's a beautiful car & it still turns heads at the local Ford dealer, whenever I go for a service.
It's a shame it didn't sell more, as Ford would have kept it in production longer, but it's nice to have a Ford that is actually rare.
Couple that with the fact that it's the prettiest Ford out there, you have a real gem of a car.
