Hi,

anyone struggled with the same problem? Rear sensor is busted in a 1995 4x4, and they've been NLA from Ford for at least a decade now. Any way to fit another sensor in the originals place, or anything else along the lines of making the system work?
I don't even know what matters in a sensor, apart from physical size, air gap and resistance...

Of course the TCS & ABS lights can be "fixed", but I'd really like to fix the system instead.

How similar is the 4x4 jag stuff, have you looked into that? Otherwise a breakers might be your only choice if you cant buy new anymore

Jag's pretty different as far as I can tell, resembles a mk3 wagons rear suspension instead of the multilink in mk1 hatch. Hub carrier is so different it would be a surprise for the sensor to be even close...have to check though. 4x4 mondy woulda been difficult to find in the breakers 10 years ago, impossible today

If a mod feels so inclined, this could be moved to the mondeo section...didn't see that on the mobile.
