Default Vacuum Diagram for 306 Gti6

My mate made a swap engine in a Citroen ZX 16v. He changed the 2.0 16v with 155hp for a 2.0 16v with 167hp.

We're running into some problems with low rpm's. Looks like the car don't develop power and begins struggling to rev....but on the other hand, in high rpm's, the car pulls strong. We're suspecting some bad vacuum hose or bad connection when the engine came to our hand. Anyone has some vacuum diagram of these cars? Or can help in some way?

We would appreciate a lot

if its the same as what i had, i used to have a s16 306, no power at low revs then would start going, was vaccuum stuff..i had to get a new solenoid valve and 2 diaphrams, all part of vacuum stuff and affect power at low revs, does the engine look like my old one, i replaced what ive arrowed..

That's the old engine that he had in the ZX....that's the 155hp. He now has this one:




I also relate the problem to the idle valve....could it be?

im not sure on that engine, i only had the s16 model, with a problem with the avac system i think it was called...i havent got it now anymore...

You swapped engines, but what about injectors, sensors, wiring loom and ecu?

We've took out the old engine with everything, and installed the GTi6 engine with everything that came with it. Only sketchy part was the wiring but we got it sorted and still strugling with the same problem even with a new idle valve....
