just bought a mk3 escort estate and am soon to be looking at having the bodywork all tidied up, before then there are a few body bits i want to get hold of, bumpers grill bonnet etc, it has an s1 kit on it but just a standard base spec bumper which doesnt fit with the kit, i wanted to fit a turbo style one but i have heard they need modifying to fit, any help appreciated and where to get hold of the parts!

the bumpers do need to be modded
the studs on a s1 bumper dont line up with the holes on the rear panel & the side plastics are to short
ive got the same problem but il will remove my bracket's so the bumper bolts up & make the sides longer
you can buy a rear estate gl bumper from most panel suplier's,you then can fit the s1 trims on but still need to make the sides longer & will not line up with the kit recess bits unless you lift the bumper up & drill new bolt holes

no i mean just the sides mate
i would buy to set of side's & make one out off two
