KA - New driver, 1999 KA, NO MANUAL, help please?
Hi All
I wouldn't normally resort to joining a forum to bother other people to help me. However, I am a new driver, and recently bought a 1999 Ford KA petrol car.
She runs lovely as far as i can tell, only hiccup is the airbag warning light staying on (which is going back to garage for tomorrow), but I have no idea on how to keep on top of maintainence, FAQs etc etc, and due to not having the owners/manufacturors manual, theres a few knobs and things I am unsure of purpose.
I cant find a manual online anywhere.
is anyone able to help with this manual business? Or indeed, any pointers for a new driver owning this car?
Thank you
Lou

Fuck sake
Make sure you keep on top of oil levels, from what i've seen of these engines they don't like running low on oil at all, so check regularly and keep topped up, you will need a 5W30 Semi synthetic.
Also keep an eye on the other fluids as you would any car, (i,.e engine coolant which is a plastic header tank i think on most KA's near the suspension strut top.
What else would you like to know? and which knobs are you unsure about?
